Short Biography

Terry is a results-driven personal trainer with a passion for helping people of all ages, abilities,and backgrounds build stronger, healthier lives. With decades of hands-on experience, he’s guided everyone—from individuals managing diabetes or returning from long sedentary periods to competitive and high-level athletes—toward meaningful, sustainable progress.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education with a minor in Business from Washington State University and maintains industry-leading certifications through ACSM, NASM, ESA,WITS, and the NSCA-CSCS. Terry also serves as an instructor for WITS certification programs and previously led the personal training program at Ashmead College Northgate.

His training philosophy is simple and  powerful: anything is better than nothing. Terry meets clients exactly where they are, helping them make steady, achievable improvements no matter their time constraints, injuries, or current conditioning level. 

He is also the author of four books in The Final Edge series:
