Do Not Use Too Many Products

Hence, it is advised to stick to minimum products at least for a few weeks, see how it’s working for your skin, and then think about shifting to another product.
Stepping Out? Do Not Without a Sunscreen
Many people have this misconception that they need to wear sunscreen only on sunny days or when going to the beach. This is not true. You must wear sunscreen every time you step out of your house, be it for grocery shopping or while driving a car. Direct exposure to UV rays can harm your skin and contribute to visible signs of aging. And you must reapply your SPF every two hours for better protection.
Dermatologists suggest moisturizing your skin at least two times a day. First, right after the shower, and second, right before going to bed. Also, make sure you avoid creams with strong fragrances and choose a light moisturizer that would be easy and irritation-free for everyday use.
Exfoliate Two-Three Times a Week
Our skin sheds millions of dead skin cells every 30 days or so. When you exfoliate your skin at least two times a week, it makes your skin soft by buffing away and removing those dead skin cells. Hence, choose a product that is pH neutral for better results.
Taking enough vitamins can make your skin look healthy and youthful. Vitamins come in either supplement form or are added to the products. Whatever form you choose, ensure you get vitamins D, C, E, and K, as it will help reduce redness, red spots, rough patches, and excessive dryness.
Eat More Greens
Green leafy vegetables contain folate, an important nutrient for DNA repair, which also helps produce new cells and repair the skin. One should follow a diet rich in fruits and veggies as they contain powerful antioxidants that protect the skin from the damage caused by free radicals. And free radicals can cause wrinkles and age spots. Hence, make sure you take your greens.
Clean Your Makeup Brushes Regularly
Regular use of brushes accumulates dirt, dust, and other impurities, which can harm your skin in multiple ways. It can cause more damage than skin irritation, redness, or a simple breakout. So, make sure you clean your makeup bag at least once a week.
