TV Time = Fitness Time? You Bet

Think watching your favorite shows means giving up on fitness? Think again.
You don’t need to skip screen time to stay active, just use it smartly.

As Arizona’s trusted fitness and nutrition expert, I help busy people build strength and energy into the moments they already have. If you’re short on time, your TV breaks could be the secret weapon you’re missing.

Why Commercial Breaks Are Perfect for Movement

Commercials last around 2–3 minutes. That’s enough for a solid mini workout.

No equipment. No excuses.

Just a few targeted moves while the ads play and you’re stacking fitness wins without missing your show.

Easy Exercises You Can Do During TV Breaks

Here’s your go-to commercial break circuit:

1. Jumping Jacks – 30 seconds

Get your heart rate up fast.

2. Bodyweight Squats – 15 reps

Build lower-body strength and core engagement.

3. Plank Hold – 30 seconds

Fire up your abs and shoulders. Breathe deeply and stay strong.

4. Standing Calf Raises – 20 reps

Sculpt and strengthen your legs while standing in place.

5. Seated Russian Twists – 20 reps

If you’re already on the couch, use it! Target those obliques.

Rotate through 1–2 rounds depending on how many commercials you get.

Make TV Time Work for You

You already watch shows—why not turn that habit into something healthier?

💥 Bonus Tip: Keep a yoga mat near your couch or a resistance band in the living room to level up.
